What you need to know

You could log into the eduroam or HFU Open wi-fi without any problems until now and now you get an error message?

Prerequisites:

- You are in the wi-fi area of Furtwangen University.
- You have a valid HFU account.

What you have to do

  1. Check if you can log in to other services, e.g. FELIX or Webmail.

  2. If you are able to log in to other services (FELIX or Webmail) but receive an error message when using wi-fi, proceed as follows:

    • It's best if you take this opportunity to enter a private email address. Then you can reset your password yourself if you forget it.

    • With the password change, the wi-fi and VPN should work again as usual.

  3. If you still can't get into the wi-fi after resetting your password or you have problems with resetting the password, write a ticket in the service desk: servicedesk.hs-furtwangen.de with a description of the error message and a screenshot.
