Viewing student absences

FELIX 20-150

What you need to know

FELIX offers you the option to keep attendance lists online and to document absences. The attendance records are kept for each course.

To be able to use absence recording in your course, you first have to configure your course (see Helpcard 20-140) and record absences for each course (see Helpcard 20-145).

This Helpcard describes how you can view recorded absences.

What you have to do

  1. To see an overall view of absenteeism of all participants, click on "Administration" and there on "Lectures and absences".

    • An overview of the lecture blocks opens.

  2. Click on the "Participants" tab.

    • A list of participants and their absence rate is displayed.

    • In this view, the individual lessons or individual absences of the participants cannot be viewed or changed.

  3. To view or change the individually recorded absences of the participants, close this overview by clicking on the red cross (top right) and open "Lectures" in the toolbar (top center).

    • An overview of the lecture blocks opens.

  4. Click on the "book" icon behind the respective lesson.
