Modified login name for Office 365 education

What you need to know

Note: for all Office 365 users

The login name for your private Microsoft 365 Education account has been modified.

This is a result of changes introduced by Microsoft.

What you have to do

  1. New users:

    If you are a new user and logging into the Microsoft account for the first time, please see Internal link opens in the same window:Helpcard software-30-020.

  2. Previous users:

    If you have already used the Microsoft account and want to log in to the Microsoft login screen as usual, please note the following:

    • The domain has been changed to:
      associate.hs-furtwangen.de

       

      Examples:

      mmuster@hs-furtwangen.de
      changes to
      mmuster@associate.hs-furtwangen.de

      or

      marta.musterfrau@hs-furtwangen.de
      changes to
      marta.musterfrau@associate.hs-furtwangen.de

    • Do not use your HFU email address to log in.

    • Do not create a new account.

    • Your password remains unchanged.

      For your login name, the domain (extension) is changing to associate.hs-furtwangen.de
