(Group) task - a participant / group has submitted the wrong file

What you need to know

A participant has submitted the wrong file.
Case 1 (see step 1): A participant has submitted the wrong file and the submission period has not yet expired.
Case 2 (see step 2): A participant has submitted the wrong file and the submission period has already expired.

What you have to do

  1. Case 1: A participant has submitted the wrong file and the submission period has not yet expired.

    • Click "(Group) Task" in your course.

    • In the "All participants" tab you will find all participants who are enrolled in your course.

    • Click on the corresponding participant (click on the name in the table) (or select the corresponding group).

    • Click on "Reopen".

    • The participant can now delete the incorrect file and upload and submit the correct file.

  2. Case 2: A participant has submitted the wrong file and the submission period has already expired.

    • Click "(Group) Task" in your course.

    • In the "All participants" tab you will find all participants who are enrolled in your course.

    • Then click on "Extend" in the row of the corresponding participant or group and extend the submission deadline by a few minutes.

    • The submission is now reopened, the incorrectly uploaded file can be deleted by the participant or group, and the correct file can be uploaded within the extended submission deadline.
