Viewing your course timetable

SPLAN 10-010

What you need to know

The current timetables are always published two weeks before the start of lectures and are then available at any time.

Please note:
- Basically, your timetable (depending on your degree programme and semester) is fixed. Exceptions are e.g. language courses, elective courses or study programmes for international students.
- Timetables are subject to change. Therefore, it is best to check it once a day in the morning, set a bookmark/favourite in your browser or link the timetable to your calendar app (described below).

To learn how to configure your schedule with your personal events, click here: Helpcard Internal link opens in the same window:Configuring your own timetable (SPLAN 10-020).

What you have to do

    • It is NOT necessary for students to log in with your HFU account.

  1. If necessary, select the current semester in the preset "Timetables" tab.

  2. Select the study programme.

  3. Select your semester, e.g. AIN 1 = 1st semester AIN.

    • The timetable of the respective course is displayed in the centre.

  4. Select "With Date" at the top centre and then navigate to the desired week of the semester.

  5. Tip: To stay up-to-date with timetable changes, we recommend linking the timetable as a web calendar via iCal link to your calendar app (see Figure 6.1, copy link). You can find more information (in German) here: https://www.progotec.de/site/splandok/iCal-Anbindung.

    • If you download the timetable via iCal file, export it as PDF or print it, you will not be informed about any changes.

  6. The colour scheme on the bottom left gives you an indication of the frequency of the event (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, etc.).
