Media portal

Here you will find important information and instructions about the HFU Media Portal. Through this media portal, HFU faculty can make videos and audio files available to students. Students cannot upload files to the media portal.

Visibility and access to videos and audio files can be configured individually in various different ways (e.g. public or open to the university, hidden, only for a specific user group). The more you want to restrict visibility and access, the more configuration steps are required.

Our decision-making tool will help you to make videos available.

We recommend recording your videos in 16:9 format. If you set slides to music in PowerPoint, you can set this in the "Design" tab under "Slide size".
