What you need to know
You want to manage your HFU mail account with Apple Mail. Since the system in the data centre sometimes works with different names, some changes are necessary in your account settings.
Unfortunately, no further support for this email program can be provided!
What you have to do
In the "Mail" menu, select "Add account", then "Other mail account" and the "Continue" button.
Under "Add mail account" enter your full name, while in the middle field enter the email address assigned to you and in the bottom field enter the password assigned to you.
Then confirm with "Register".
In the following dialog box, enter the following data:
Select "IMAP" as the account type.
Enter "mail.rz.hs-furtwangen.de" in the fields "Server for incoming e-mails" and "Server for outgoing e-mails".
The "Username" and "Password" fields are already filled in.
Confirm with "Register" again.
Now you will get a final dialog box with a selection for the apps you want to use. Click the "Done" button.
Your account has been set up successfully.
