What you need to know
You want to extend the previously defined test period for individual or for all test participants (e.g. due to technical problems, disadvantage compensation...)?
Please note: you can only extend the test period if it has not yet expired. If the test is already finished (manually or automatically), no extension is possible.
Note: you can also configure compensation for disadvantages before the exam starts (see Helpcard 2035).
What you have to do
In your corresponding "EKLK_Mastercourse (eKlausur@home)" click on "Assessment tool" under "Administration".
The assessment tool opens and you see the "Overview" page.
Click on "Course elements" under "List of assessable elements" (left).
Now select the "To the exam" test course element and then "eKlausur@home".
A table opens in which various options are now available to you for one or all test participants.
Select the corresponding examinee whose test period you want to extend.
If you want to extend the test period for all examinees, select "Select all XX lines" at the bottom of the page.
You can only extend the test period at this point if the test has already been started by the examinee(s) or has not yet been completed.
If a test was terminated prematurely, please refer to Helpcard 1010.
If you want to change the test period for all examinees again before the test starts, you have to do this directly in the course editor. In the course editor, click on "To exam" and enter the desired time limit in the "Options" tab.
Click on "Extend" (in the bar at the bottom right).
The "Extend" window will open.
Enter the time by which you want to extend the previously defined period and confirm by clicking on "Extend".
The test period of the examinee(s) is now extended accordingly.
The message, "Attention: the time in the exam mode is not extended. The exam mode must be extended in the Exam mode menu", can be ignored.
