eKlausur@home - test ended prematurely by mistake

FAQ EPRUEFUNG-2040

What you need to know

An examinee accidentally ended the test early and wants to continue.
These instructions describe how to make the test accessible again. The answers that the person has saved until the point when the test was ended, have not been lost.

What you have to do

  1. In your corresponding "EKLK_Mastercourse (eKlausur@home)", under "To exam", click on the "eKlausur@home" course component.

    • The "test cockpit" opens. You have the same view that you can reach via Administration > Assessment tool.

  2. Click on the "cogwheel" on the right above the table and deactivate those table columns in the view that you do not need (e.g. user name, visibility, doc,) so that you can see the "three dots menu" on the far right at the end of the table for each examinee.

  3. Find the corresponding examinee whose test you want to reopen and click on the 3 dots menu at the end of that line

    • A list with various options will open.

  4. Click on "Reopen finished test" and confirm with "Start again".

    • In the table, the status in the "Status" column changes from "Finished" to "Started".

  5. Return to the 3 dots menu of the examinee in question, then click on "Reset number of attempts". Confirm by clicking on "Reset number of attempts".

    • Since the test is limited to one solution attempt, the number of attempts must be reset.

    • Now the test can be continued by the examinee. The previously saved answers remain stored.
